Shutter solution!

Offering a clean, uncluttered look, shutters can be the perfect solution for interior windows. They are easy to clean, and control light and privacy by tilting the vanes or opening the doors. They come in a variety of standard paint colors and stains to coordinate with existing trim. Custom finishes are also available as is remote control vane tilting. In this photo there are two shutter panels that bi-fold on the left side of the window and two that bi-fold on the right. Norman Shutters are offered in wood and composite materials and can fit nearly any window shape making them the perfect solution for difficult to treat windows. Size limitations do apply.

How to design a bedroom space

I always recommend beginning with fabric as your inspiration for a bedroom as most of the room is made up of fabric used for window treatments and bedding. In most cases the bed is the focal point of the room and should have the most impact or drama to establish the ‘look’ for your design. You can dress your bed and bedding ensemble with a mix of pillows and shams. Your inspirational fabric will lay the ground work for your color palette for the rest of the room to pull in furnishings, paint colors, and accessories. These simple initial steps help to make the entire process of your decorating less stressful, much more fun, and provide you with a map to design the rest of your room.
